Alex Aguilar, LCSW

In my office, my hope is that you feel free from judgment and grounded in the possibility of meaningful change. Feeling anxious, detached, or overwhelmed is a deeply human experience, and it’s not one you have to face alone. I aim to build a therapeutic relationship that goes beyond traditional talk therapy, fostering an embodied sense of healing and transformation. I believe therapy can help shift stuck patterns, soften pain, and cultivate a deeper sense of resilience and connection, to yourself and to others.

As a queer, biracial, and neurodivergent therapist, my work is rooted in lived experience and grounded in compassion. I work with individuals and couples, including straight, queer, and non-monogamous partners, drawing from extensive training in experiential, attachment-based, trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Approaches.

Reaching out for support takes courage! Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore your inner world, make sense of your experiences, and move toward relationships and a life that feels more whole and alive.
