Angela Facchinei, LPC
As a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor for the past 9 years, I have spent the past three years serving as an outpatient therapist at PA Counseling Co-op, specializing in supporting adults aged 18 and older as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in empathy, evidence-based practices, and a genuine commitment to empowering individuals on their journey toward mental wellness and personal growth.
At PA Counseling Co-op, I work with a diverse clientele, addressing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, and stress management. I believe in meeting each client where they are, honoring their unique experiences, and collaborating to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and values.
My therapeutic toolkit includes modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), along with a variety of mindfulness-based interventions, allowing me to tailor my approach to best support each client’s needs. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore new perspectives and build resilience.
Throughout my tenure at PA Counseling Coop, I have maintained a strong commitment to professional development, regularly participating in continuing education, providing supervision, and peer collaboration. This dedication ensures that I remain informed about the latest advances in the field and uphold the highest standards of ethical and culturally responsive care.
I hold a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Shippensburg University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. My ongoing pursuit of knowledge, including specialized training in trauma-informed care and mindfulness, enhances my ability to support clients through complex and sensitive issues.
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy morning walks with my Great Dane, Mucca, which help me maintain balance and perspective. I am always open to connecting with fellow mental health professionals, collaborating on initiatives to enhance community wellbeing, and advocating for greater access to quality mental health care.
If you or someone you know is seeking a supportive and experienced therapist, I invite you to reach out and begin the journey toward healing and growth together.
